These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of vytalresearch.com and any purchase made from Vytal Research ("Vytal Research," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using this site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use this site or purchase our products.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract to create an account or place an order. By using this site, you represent that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate.
2. Research Use Only
All products sold by Vytal Research are intended strictly for laboratory, in-vitro, or non-clinical research use, as described in our Compliance & RUO Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Products are not drugs, dietary supplements, foods, or cosmetics, have not been evaluated by the FDA for human or veterinary use, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. By purchasing, you affirm the buyer representations set out in our Compliance & RUO Policy.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at orders@vytalresearch.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss arising from your failure to safeguard your login credentials.
4. Orders & Payment
Orders placed through this site are confirmed manually and are not final until payment is received and verified. Payment is accepted via Venmo, Cash App, and/or Zelle, sent directly to the handle shown at checkout — Vytal Research does not process, store, or have access to your payment card or bank account details through this site. You are responsible for referencing your order ID and name accurately in the payment note; delayed or misdirected payments due to an incorrect reference are the buyer's responsibility. Prices, product availability, and promotions are subject to change without notice and are not guaranteed until an order is confirmed.
5. Shipping
Estimated shipping timeframes are not guaranteed. Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon our delivery to the shipping carrier. It is your responsibility to confirm that receiving research compounds is lawful in your jurisdiction before ordering — see our Compliance & RUO Policy.
6. Returns & Refunds
Because of the nature of the products sold, all sales are final except where a shipment was misdelivered, damaged in transit, or does not match what was ordered. Any such issue must be reported to orders@vytalresearch.com within 7 days of delivery, with your order ID and photo documentation where applicable. Approved remedies are at our sole discretion and may include replacement or store credit.
7. Points & Rewards Program
Any points balance associated with your account has no cash value, is non-transferable, and may be modified, capped, or discontinued at any time at our discretion. Points are earned only on orders that have shipped and are subject to the terms shown on your account page.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: use this site for any unlawful purpose; misrepresent your identity, age, or research intent; attempt to circumvent any security or access-control feature of this site; or resell, relabel, or represent our products as anything other than research-use-only material.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this site — including text, graphics, logos, and product descriptions — is the property of Vytal Research or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written permission.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
This site and all products are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vytal Research and its owners, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of this site or any product purchased, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your purchase will not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vytal Research and its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claim, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of any product, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of this site will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Ohio, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of this site or your account after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
